Why join a mission to develop software for Android-powered Infotainment?

Since the start of 2022 we have had 13 new HaleyTek'er join our mission to develop software for Android-powered Infotainment systems. Among the new recruits are Elin Ljungström who started at HaleyTek as our new Product Owner (PO) for Connectivity and Emulator. We were eager to ask Elin what it's been like to join HaleyTek.

-      It's been great, everyone is very welcoming and it's like being part of a big family. Also, it feels really good to immediately have trust from the company and to be able to contribute to the overall plan.

What made you decide that HaleyTek was the right place for you?

-    My decision is based upon the possibility to influence and to make difference where it matters. Since this is a newly created company, I am thrilled to put my experience to define our common scope and product.

It’s not hard to tell that Elin is a real go getter and she's not afraid to admit that she has high expectations on herself and her team. When we ask Elin about her ambitions she says -'To start with, I am eager to have correct preconditions for the team in place. This includes to define a product suitable for our different customers. In parallel I want to be a part of building a high preforming team in which we trust and listen to each other.'

Finally, we were curious to know who Elin looks up to and why?

-     A person who has been very important for me in my Agile journey is Sabina Edenlund at Volvo Cars. She supported me as a true change leader when it comes to test/process/CI strategies for one of my previous products and she was always open for discussions when I needed help. You are valuable Sabina!

Elin certainly embodies the HaleyTek sprit, in the sense that she is not afraid to ask questions, her positive and enthusiastic approach has served her well when it comes to getting acquainted with her new role as PO. We look forward to seeing her in action and to flourish with us!
